Erica Durance has wasted no time in landing her own show after the end of Smallville. Erica has landed the lead role in a CTV (Canadian broadcaster) drama called Saving Hope. It begins production in Toronto on June 22. Many CTV dramas like Flashpoint have made their way to the U.S. as well, so it is likely we’ll be seeing the show internationally if it should get picked up.
Saving Hope is described as a “sexy, fast-paced drama set in a Toronto hospital.” It’s produced by Gemini winning producer Ilana Frank (Rookie Blue) and written by Rookie Blue’s Morwyn Brebner.
Congratulations to Erica on her new role.
